The Crowe:

The Crowe kitchen underwent a renovation. The previous layout and colour scheme of the kitchen island and cabinets were outdated. To compliments the gorgeous wooden beams, we opted for timeless cabinet fronts with a modern yet slightly rustic feel. Oak was chosen for the cabinets, with a darker stain for the perimeter and a lighter stain for the kitchen island and built-in hutch creating a striking visual impact.

The Hastings Farmhouse:

The Hastings Farmhouse boasts a rich history of over a century. Our mission was to preserve the old charm while enhancing it with modern updates. We replaced the floors, removed walls, and installed a brand new kitchen. However, we were careful to ensure that these updates blended seamlessly with the classic aesthetic of the farmhouse. To achieve this, we chose a timeless off-white painted cabinet for the kitchen and a striking brick subway tile that was installed from countertop to ceiling. The elegant walnut wooden countertops were the perfect finishing touch to the kitchen's overall aesthetic. For the bathroom renovations, we carefully selected and installed new tiles for the floors, new vanities, and new lighting fixtures. Additionally, in the downstairs bathroom, we enhanced its aesthetic appeal by installing shiplap on the walls, giving it a charming farmhouse vibe.

The Model House:

Working on a model home was an incredible experience because it allowed me to truly challenge myself. Unlike working for a single client, where I receive specific feedback about their preferences, working on a model home meant that everyone was the client. I had to select furniture and finishes that would appeal to a wide range of tastes and preferences, rather than just one individual. If you're considering building a home, I highly recommend booking a tour of the Davis New Homes & Developments Model house and checking out their website!
